ISSUE:
- In the Data Table component for Screen Flows, if you add a lookup field as one of the columns, it displays the record Id not the text record name value.
- Obviously this is useless to end users. In the Data Table editor your can't select any cross-object fields or use variables (i.e. a formula), so you are stuck with the record Id.
Not sure if I'm just a noob and missing how to do this, so I'm posting here to see if there's an answer to my problem.
PROPOSED CHANGE (ideaexchange to upvote it HERE).
- When using a lookup field as a column in a Data Table component in a Screen Flow element, have the value of each record display the TEXT record name value, NOT the Salesforce record Id.

Correct, this is a known limitation. The work around is to create a formula field that returns the lookup object name
