We’re moving our donor CRM over to Salesforce mid-next year. Elevate and Donorbox have risen to the top as the best platforms to handle donations on our website, as they both integrate well with Salesforce. It’s been challenging to find reviews on Elevate, so I’m coming to you all!
- What do you like most/dislike about the platform?
- If you had the chance, would you still choose Elevate?
- What have been the biggest pain points in setting up or using Elevate?
- How much time does it take to set up and administer it?
Thank you all for your tips! For reference, we’re a small non-profit with a fundraising budget of ~$500,000, and we currently use WordPress to manage our website and Stripe to process payments.
We are also considering a move to Elevate, though we are moving from Classy. I would love to get some insight into what we are in for as well. @Jillianne Bandstra had four excellent questions:

We will probably have a consultant implement it, so I am wanting to discern how big of a project it will be in order to evaluate whether their quote is reasonable. I would add ONE IMPORTANT QUESTION:
- Should we anticipate any disruptions in our monthly recurring donations? We need that to go smoothly, as any interruption will likely lead to permanently lost donations.
