Custom history report/Field Audit Trail

Hi Community!

Our company has purchased Field Audit Trail to have the possibility to track more fields in our system, and we would like to do reporting on these. 

In Salesforce, there are multiple standard report types containing the fields "Edited By, Field / Event" etc, like the "Individual History" report type. I don't have the opportunity to add them in a custom report type, is there a way around where we can create a custom report containing these fields? 

Also, are there any good documentation on Field Audit Trail out there? I have looked at the documentation on what it is, but find it difficult on how to navigate through.
