Is there a way to compress images taken via smartphone (iOS,Android) directly when uploading them to Salesforce? We have between 3.5 MB to 7.5 MB images per image and we would like to compress them as much as we can. Does anyone know if compressing images in Salesforce is possible?

I have not heard of a solution - but absolutely a lot of clients have issues with image storage.
Other solutions I have seen are processes built to delete old attachments.
As well, I have seen people store images in storage drives like dropbox and then have a URL to the photo location in a relevant object.
