When clicking on the New Contact action button to add a new person, I would like to be able to remove some of the visible fields for all Users to make initial entry of a new contact more streamlined. I installed Volunteers for Salesforce which we have not fully built out yet and now all those fields are visible on the New Contact popup. I want those fields on our Contact Record, just not on this New Contact popup area. Can anyone guide me on how to do this? Thanks in advance!

If you're not ready to use those fields yet you could set them to read only on the page layout, and then the field names will appear, but users won't be able to enter data into them.
