Format for Credit card Expiration Date Field

Hello Trailblazers,

I want to create Credit card Expiration Date field so for that what is the best way:

Formula field? What will be the formula? or

Text Field using Validation Rules? waht will be the validation rule?

Conditions:

1. No Alphabates Allowed

2. Date Format Should be "MM/YY''

3.Conatains "/" & Length 5
