I need help on linking products with opportunities. Need to store all the services(offered to an opportunity) in one place under an opportunity and should be able to add the services and make edits from that oportunity.
Can I use opportunity product for this. If yes, how to link them as both are standard objects.

You can link it through the opportunity detail page related list. Go to opportunity detail and in the related list, you can see opportunity product. From there you can see existing products for the deal and you can also add new from there.
