How do i deactivate my account on salesforce? I have tried edit user but i am unable to uncheck the active box.

If you like to deactivate the user account from salesforce, then require "Manage Internal Users" permission, can you make sure that you have the permission in profile level? - https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=deactivating_users.htm&type=5
