Hi, is there any downside to requesting "Enable Case duration or age in business hours" feature be turned on?  https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000214416&type=1

It exposes the 'Business Hours Age' field in applicable Case object reports.

This would be extremely handy for some reports we wish to run, but I need to ensure it won't break any existing reports or other functionality.

As a followup, if there is no downside, why wouldn't this simply be turned on by default?

ps. I had asked this question in the chatter feed, but I don't think that was the right place.

    Hi Mark,

chatter feed? from your own org?

From that very same article you have a note there :If a user has their access to the 'Closed Date/Time' field limited through Field Level Security or Field Accessibility then this field will not be available for use. Also, this will only calculate the amount of time for the Default Business Hours, regardless of which 'Business Hours' is chosen on the Case.

If you understand and happy with its behavior then do turn on. I also assume there is no need for the processing in the multitenant environment if the feature is not wanted.

But you can ask this questions directly to salesforce when you opening the case to switch it on.

    Hope this helps,
