I have followed the instructions in the Enable Members to Flag Items in Your Community (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=networks_moderation_enable.htm&type=5), but checking off "Allow members to flag content" for our community has not made the "Flag" button appear in our communities Direct Messages, which is the use case for this activation. Does anyone know of any hidden settings that need to be accounted for to allow this "Flag" button to appear?

    A Salesforce Support respresentative was able to show me where the issue was stemming from. Quote from the rep that I used to resolve my case:

     

    "After checking, the reason why the 'Flag' button is not working for your Community is because you haven't enabled the Moderation yet.

     

    To do that please follow the steps below:

     

    1. Go to Setup. In the Quick Find box, type Communities Settings.

     

    2. Go to 'Community Moderation Rule Settings'.

     

    3. Enable the 'Moderation applies to all feed posts regardless of where they are visible'.

     

    4. Save."
