I have shared a report folder with only a few users. We have a permission set for managing reports. The users assign to the manage reports permission set can see this private folder. Does the permission set override the private folder?

    Hi John,

     

    If they have Manage Reports Permission they will have access to the reports and you cannot control this.

     

    Alternatively, create a new permission set and just give the users access to Create and Customize Reports, Create Report Folders permission, by doing so users will only be able to Create, edit, and delete reports to any folder thats shared with them instaed of giving them a blanka ccess to all Public Folders
