You are going to need Record Types defined for Opportunity with the Page Layout WITH End User and the Page Layout WITHOUT End User.
Then you need a Process Builder on Opportunity Line Item that, when created AND XYZ, then change the Opportunity Record Type.
If this is strictly for visual satisfaction, I would caution against turning on record types. They are a pain to maintain unless there is a really compelling business case to create ROI.
