Create a report that shows deals that were meant to close last week Regardless of if they've been moved

Question

I need to create a report that allows me to almost 'freeze' the "Deals closing this week" report on a Sunday evening and then compare that against deals actually closed that week so we can see if the ones they said would close, closed or not.

Then run another report that would display the activity against that 'frozen' view.

I have tried historical snapshots, I've tried the Opportunity Historical Close date report (This will show me the first close date entered, I need to see the close date entered last week)

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Tom,   Is history tracking enabled for Close Date field? If that's enabled, you can use Opportunity Field History report type.     Regards,   Jayson
