I have a web-to-lead form which can be filled out in two parts. When someone visits the site, a unique ID is generated and stored so that it remembers them if they leave the form part-completed.

When the first part of the form is completed (contact details, etc) a lead is created in Salesforce using the standard web-to-lead functionality. However, if the lead revisits the website to complete the second part of the form, I would like to update the current lead in Salesforce. The unique ID is captured in SF so I can use this to match. However, when using DupeCatcher, it appears that updating the lead isn't an option if it's a match...

...Is there a way? Thanks.

I'm still struggling with this. I want the two records to automatically merge - I assume this is going to have to be done using Apex but, I'm in now way an expert!

I simply want something to say that when a new Lead is created with the same Unique ID as a current record, I want the new information to populate the current record. I wonder if I could do this using Jitterbit?
