Help with formula field to return a true or false value of two different field types

Hi, I want my formula field to return the value of one field (Formula (Currency)) if True or the value of another field (Picklist) if False. Is this even possible? 

 

I have so far:

 

IF(ISPICKVAL(Interest_Frequency__c, "At maturity"),Interest__c,Interest_Frequency__c)

    Hi @Anilesh, I realised I could picture switch it sucessfully when it fed it into my Conga document, so didn't use your formula but thank yu for your help.
