We created a filter that is "Category Manager: Role: Name = Value -> Category Manager". When a user searches on this field, they are able to search for all users in our SFDC instance, but if they try and add someone and save the record who is not in the Category Manager Role it will give them the error message we specify. If they pick a user who is in the Category Manager Role, they can save successfully. Any way to narrow down the search results to only show people in that Role? Users do not always know the Category Managers.

Looks like the problem was I needed to log out and log back in to see the changes -_- Thanks for the help
