Hi,

 

we started to work with events for our product demonstration calls. For this case i want to create a workflow rule which send a email to the customer a day before the demonstration. I took the reminder date as rule criteria and got following error message:

 

"Error: Invalid date (Valid date format 18.10.2016 or 18.10.2016 15:49)"

 

So how can i choose a format?

 

email to customer a day before the event

 

Or do u see another way to set the rule. In the end the email should me send to the customer a day before the meeting.

    Hi Frank,

     

    You will need a time based workflow for this but when you say email to customer, are you using the Standard Name field to enter the customer name i.e Lead or Contact and if so you cannot send an email to related contact or lead and you will need a trigger to accomplish this but not workflow.
