Can you edit the Recent Items?

Question

Having the "Recent Items" on my homepage dashboard is nice to have, however I was hoping to edit the information it displays about each object. For example, a recent Account, I don't need to see the website, industry or site. Any customization available?

You can't edit the recent items to add or remove certain fields. When you hover over the record name in the recent items, you can edit what is displayed there. Edit the mini page layout.
