We have created four buckets on a report and allocated them as so:
However, when we run the report, certain selections are not bucketing into the appropriate place. Instead, they are placed in the Other category.
The ones going into the Other bucket are the below, all of which should be listed under Inbound Leads - Earned:
- Web Search - Other
- Web Search - Google
- Web Form
- Referral - Franchisee
- Web Search - Bing
- Referral - LRA
I tried unchecking the "Show unbucketed values at 'Other'" checkbox and it lists all of the above as new "buckets."
What am I missing? Why are certain picklist values not showing up in the appropriate bucket?
On a related note, the value Web Form isn't appearing as a selection we can bucket, but we want this be be under Inbound Leads - Earned as well. Any advice there?

Hi Meg,
Is the source field a picklist field and if so could you please make sure the value Web Search - Other is exactly as how its saved in the backend.
If there are values which do not appear under picklist field then they will appear under Other bucket.
your best bet is creating a custom formula field on the Lead object and then group the report by the field
