I am creating the web to lead form to collect customers' info. One important field is Birthday. The code generation tool in the web to lead generate HTML code for date entering is "type=text", but I would like to use "type=date" which it can show a calendar for customer choosing a date. But the when I use "type=date", it can't pass along the date into SF. So is there a way to use "type=date" as date validation as well as to pass the date into SF?
