Hi all,
How can I set mass emailing reports that would enable me to track:
- The number of emailings sent per day, week, month
- The % of emails leads converted into contacts and opportunity
- The opening rates for each mass emailing and its trends on a definite period?
I'have been scratching my head for quite a while!

I think you have just found out that Salesforce core product is not mass email tool, offers only basic functionality with limited analytics.
If you are looking for deeper mass email functionality you really need to be looking at apps like dot mailer, extract target, etc
