I am stumped and I'm hoping someone can help.  I have one user who can create an Opportunity against an Account that he owns, but the system will not allow him to save the Opportunity.  It returns a message of Insufficient Privileges.  He is in the same profile as other users who can create and save opportunities against their own accounts.  The only difference is their role.    Here's the security run down

1. Profile - read, create, edit on Opportunities and Accounts

2. OWD - Accounts (Public Read/Write) . Opportunities (Public Read-Only)

3. Sharing Settings - no global sharing rules

4. Permission Sets - none specific to Opportunity permissions on any users tied to the profile.

5. Role Opportunity Access - Users in this role can edit all opportunities associated with accounts that they own, regardless of who owns the opportunities

I am at a complete loss regarding where I should look in order to figure out what's blocking the user from being able to save opportunities.  I someone can help me figure this one out.

I'm curious about this error message, Renee. Can you share a screenshot or the exact text? It sounds like a standard privileges error, but maybe there's something we're overlooking.
