How do I send a mass email to a group using contact manager?

When I go to the tools section as shown in the demo video I do not have this option. Is this because this is not part of the suite offered by the Contact manager system?

I am not sure which video you refer to, but sending mass emails out of Salesforce is only available in professional edition or above. :(
