I can't select a field for my report.

Question

I just created a new filed called "Ready for Accounting", and it is a formula based field based on if a certain value is chosen from a picklist, then the answer is Yes.

The Field Level secutiry is hidden to some users, but it is visible to me (the Administrator).

But when I go to create a new report. This new field is not available, (nor does it show) in the list to choose. Why would that be?

Hello Dave,

Is the Report a "custom report type"? If so, you will need to add the field manually to the report.

Thanks Igor.  That worked.  I always forget you have to complete that one extra step to get have the fields available for thse custom objects.  Again thanks for your help!!
