Rollup Helper - rollup throwing a "non-selective query" error, any way to fix?

Hello,

I am using Rollup Helper and have created a rollup that pulls against a custom object with a large record count - and it is yeilding the "Non-selective query against large object type" error.

Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I read somewhere that this can be prevented by enabling asyhcronous processing - is there any tuth to that? If so, how do I enable it for a single object?

Has anyone had any luck with this.

The only workaround is to add a rollup filter that includes an indexed field so the potential returned record set falls under the limit.
