Reverting Contacts & Accounts to Leads

We've recently change our sales process and have a number of Accounts w/ Contacts who are no longer considered Accounts/Contacts under the new process.  Is there a way to revert a Contact back to a Lead?

    Create a Report with all of the Contact Information.  Export it to Excel.  Using Data Loader, import into Leads.
