How do I change the page I see first once I have logged in?

Each time I log in for over a year I see a page about an old event that was on my calendar last summer.  I want to change it to my home page.  There is no easy way to find this info.

I suspect that you are signing in from a favorites or bookmark link in your browser.  More than likely, you've bookmarked that event and not the login page. Remove your favorite or bookmark link and set it to  https://login.salesforce.com/ .  It will take you to your home page every time.
