Making Page Uneditable Under Certain Conditions

How can we make all fields on a record uneditable when a specific Account Type has been selected?

    Go--Setup--Customize---Account--Validaiton rule.Put the below formula.

     

    ISPICKVAL(PRIORVALUE(Type),"Picklist value")
