Submit for approval before publish

Question

I want group of user to creat and edit article but they should not allowed to publish Article before its approved. If I give them manage article permission they are able to publish without sending to approval.

Please suggest how can I enforce none of the Arcticle can be publish with approval from Managers.

Hi Archana,

Step 1. Restric User to publishing Article without approval

Go to

Customize >> Knowledge >> Knowledge Article Actions

Edit Publish Articles and select Only article managers in the following public groups:

and provide the managers public group.

So now Articles can not be published without approval from Managers, you will see new button there instead of publish articles Assign through wich you can assign articles to managers for approval.

Submit for approval before publish
