Hi, is it possible to have other fields influence the opportunity probability ?

Hi, is it possible to increase the probability on an opportunity when the user selects that the deal is "Committed" for example from a user defined field? I undertsand the stage to probability link, but wanted to know if other fields can be used to influence ?

    Hi.  You could do this.  You would have to create a new probability field (and update with workflow rules likely) and then a new Expected Revenue field that takes the current "Amount" and multiplies it by your new Probability field.  Let me know if you have a question.
