i was told to use the following method (by VR support) - however, I do not seem to have the underlined feature..
Is there a newer version of SF that I need to download to get this feature?
" This must be done from within your Salesforce account and it is permanent. We recommend you contact Salesforce support if you have any questions about this procedure. Your Salesforce Administrator can follow these steps to delete data from the Salesforce Activity History object.
- Log in to your Salesforce account (you will need System Administrator permissions)
- Go to Setup | Administration Setup | Data Management | Mass Delete Records | Mass Delete Activities
- Click on Mass Delete VR Email History Contact/ Mass Delete VR Email History Lead
- Set the criteria to find the list of Activities you wish to delete (Such as email name, Mail Date, etc.)
- Check the box to Permanently Delete these Activities from your account"
