I have a scenario that I think can only be handled with PB + Flow but wanted to confirm a) it's possible and b) there isn't another way to handle this use case.

Scenario:

Whenever the PERSON ACCOUNT (Tenant) owner changes, automatically update the record owner of all of the related object called LEASES. In addition, on the LEASE record, there are look-ups to Business Contacts - they want the owners of those records changed to match as well.

If I created a PB to launch a flow and then looked up all related Leases, I could technically handle both of these requirements yes? (I was concerned because the Business Contacts don't have a direct relationship to the Person Account, only the Lease.

Youe help is appreciated.

Hi Stefani - I dont think you need a flow at all, you can just use two process builders and take care of this.

Start PB1 on the account object.

Evaluate when a record is created or changed

    Criteria:

    Account.Owner ischanged Boolean True

    Immediate Action: Update Records

    Update Related Records: Leases__r

    Owner equals field reference Account.Owner

Create another PB on the Lease object

Evaluate when a record is created or changed

    Criteria:

    Lease.Owner ischanged Boolean True

    Immediate Action: Update Records

    Update Related Records: Business_Contacts__r

    Owner equals field reference Lease.Owner
