Ok, that’s a way to go but I believe that I can do that with only 10 or so
contacts. I would prefer a function that allows me to filter directly when
working with this search… (maybe technically not possible).

Hi Peter,
You can edit your "Sales Manager" view/report to add a filter. This filter
should be 'name -->not equal to-->and then the persons name. For example
'name -->not equal to-->John Smith'. This will exclude that person from the
search/view/report, even if they meet your other filters/criteria.
