I have set up my campaign in SF and doe not see where I can go in and set up templates that I have ceated to go out on a certain day during the month.

Is this not something that can be done with SF?

Do I need to get an app for this?  Thanks.

Thansk James for the clarification, I forgot that you can actually schedule a mass email, entirely correct.

Jeff - A couple other constraints (James, please jump in here if I'm off base) you should be aware of with running emails like this through Salesforce:

    1) Even though a Campaign consists of Leads and Contacts, a Mass Email can only go to Leads OR Contacts at one time. You access the Mass Email tool by going to the Leads or Contacts tab and selecting Mass Email from the Tools area at the bottom right. Within this flow, there's an area to pick the date you want it to go out on. So if your Campaign consists of both Leads and Contacts, you'll have 2 emails at minimum.

    2) A Mass Email can also be sent to only 500 people at a time, and there's a limit of 2000 (I believe) emails that can go out from an organization in one day. So depending on how many people you're trying to email to, you may hit the ceiling there. And if you're got 2000 people to mail to, mixed with Leads and Contacts, you could end up setting up 4 seperate Mass Emails.

Tal Frankfurt has a great write-up on the mass email options you have with Salesforce here:

End result, Salesforce isn't a mass email tool. If you do a lot of email marketing, you're likely going to need a third-party email marketing tool. But for small volumes of email, Salesforce can do what you need.
