I currently have a user in our org that when he logs into Salesforce every morning it defaults to an Opportunity every time. His first tab on his navigation bar is a list view and is not defaulting to it. The Opportunity that he gets when he logs in every morning is not a favorite either. Any help on why this is happening?

You have probably thought of this already, but did you confirm your user isn't using a saved link that is taking him to that page?
