Display Density is one of the coolest feature in this release. But, is there any setting or option to turn it off for specific users or groups? I've read that we can't override the users settings. Thanks.
Glad you're liking the feature. There's currently no way for the admin to disable it in the org. We built it as primarily an end user feature and it doesn't modify anything about the page layout or page customizations admins have set up. It's purely cosmetic in terms of adjusting spacing & padding and font size when moving from the Comfy to Compact view. We know from research we conducted that user preference for display density level isn't one size fits all, so giving choice to individual users had the best utility.
Admins can set the default view that users see before they make a personal choice. For that, search for "Density Settings" in Setup.
