We are in the process of transitioning to Lightning, and on the Send Email functionality, when selecting a File for attachment, it does not pull in the Files related to that record. This makes it difficult to find the exact Files related to that Opp, and will have a negative impact on user adoption. An idea has been posted for this, see attached Link. Does anyone have a current workaround for this issue that is not extremely cumbersome? Please upvote this idea if you would like to have this functionality.

@Chandra Verrett and @Thomas Tomes, unless you can find a decent workaround on this... We already solved that problem with S-Drive, a document management app on AppExchange. You select files you want to send easily under the (opportunity) record and then send them in an email. And better news is, you are not bound by Salesforce email governing limits on file size since you are sending secure link of files instead of attachments themselves.
