Recently, I have had several complaints regarding populating date fields and date/time fields in Lightning. In Classic, the users could click on today's date or date/time right next to the field but in Lightning, you have to click on a calendar and then select the date and for date/time fields there is a separate area to select the time. I came across an idea related to this and would like to ask others experiencing the same issue to vote this up.
