Thank goodness for these groups! Need some help on Custom Links again! I could like to recreate some links that we had where we have stored documents out on a network drive but I can't seem to get the format to work. Anybody else have links that go out to network drives in their organizations? For example this link goes out to our network drive file:///\\fs.corp.ki.com\public\CRM\Case Attachments\2018 Cases but when I click on the link, nothing happens. I am in Google Chrome but the same thing happens in IE as well.

Some browsers (like Google Chrome) have security measures in place that don't allow linking to a folder on an internal network drive. We started having issues with links like that a couple of years ago with Chrome, but the links worked in IE. I don't know whether IE has now changed their security protocols to prevent that. If you have files in a secure cloud space like sharepoint or onedrive, for example, you can easily copy/paste links to those folders into Salesforce. I am planning to move our company's shared network folders to secure folders in the company's office365 space since this seems to work fine regardless of browser.
