Is Kanban available within custom objects? We are going to create a custom object for managing various projects. We will have a stage field on each project record type. Will Kanban be available?

You can set the settings to group by Stage, just know that Kanban will be shown by record type (#4 in this picture - https://screencast.com/t/zKp9fVFefR).
