Are any of you out there using LEX heavy task users? If so, how are you coping with not being able to create your own list views for Tasks?

This one limitation is the one and only showstopper from me moving forward with migrating my entire company over to LEX (~300 users). We currently have the sales org on it, and its fairly successful, however the rest of the company is extremely task-monitoring heavy, and almost everyone has their own customized list views and use those views as their daily process drivers.

I can't fathom having that taken away from them and having to use the 4 or so OOTB list views that LEX comes with, which are completely useless for most people here.

I've done extensive searching on solutions, talked to account managers, and have just hit dead end after dead end, so I'm here to ask the community! Have any of you solved for this? Or found an alternative/workaround? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this, I swear I feel like I'm the only person in the world who thinks the 4 list view options for Tasks in LEX is frankly ridiculous. I hope I'm not alone.

We have moved our old Classic task list views to reports for each of our teams that have specific needs. It is not ideal, especially when considering the enhancements that came with the task tab (preview pane, quick edit, one click complete, etc), but we are just trying to hold off for the improvements that are promised. On the upside, our folks like having the ability to add a chart to visualize their task lists (by type, by status, by account, etc) now that they are using reports.
