Hi,

We have several IMAGE formulas that render a graphic out of our documents. These images don't display in Lightning, so we've created new images as files. The existing formula ("servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=(ID) doesn't render when pointed to the file and neither does this formula: /sfc/servlet.shepherd/version/renditionDownload?rendition=THUMB720BY480&versionId={!fileId}. The only way we've been able to render an image in lex is to use the entire, hard-coded URL. Does anyone know any other ways to do it? I don't want to hardcode if at all possible.

@Briana Kruse feel free to use our FREE Lightning Components to do so : http://bit.ly/SharinPixFreeComp

    - it will allow you to upload an image if needed or rendering an existing one from SalesforceID or URL. a URL from a Document in Classic is also supported there.

Of course, if you want a better optimized support of images, you could also use the Lightning components included in our paid App which is coming with unlimited storage, full lightning support, edition and annotation on images, Salesforce1 support, Offline capabilities, Automatic resize of images for documents, views, reports and so on...
