I'm trying to figure out the best way to share files with my customers via a Customer Community. Requirements are that internal users (non-admins) must be able to upload files for view only by specific Contacts at a specific Account. Internal users must be able to see when and who viewed or downloaded a file. Lastly, Customer Community users must be able to view a list of the files shared to them within the portal.
Is this possible? Can I used Chatter Files for this? What about Content Deliveries? Do Chatter Files and Content Delivery work together? There seem to be a lot of options.
This feature is actually available via the File and Content Report report type. There is a link on all File detail pages (content file and non-content files alike) called Show file report which will run the standard report.
To see the User names of who downloaded a given file add the Downloaded By field to the report. Viewed by is only available for Content files.
