Marketing Cloud Email Studio: A workflow to verify all sending addresses used by your organization for email sends. Help documentation: https://sfdc.co/domain

With the enforcement of verified email domains the help article mentions at least one email domain should be verified. If we verify the one can the other email domains which aren’t verified still be used?

Hi @Ed Wang my sincere apologies for missing this earlier. Have you resolved your question? Here is a link to last year's June release of Domain Verification: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_rn_2018_es_domain_verification_from_address_management.htm&type=5

and the current feature documentation for this:

    https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=mc_es_domain_verification.htm&type=5

With the correct Admin account, you should have everything you need.

If you wish to review the webinar or resource links a copy of the deck, here are both:

If we're migrating to an Enterprise level of Marketing Cloud do we have to re-verify all of our sender profiles? And re-verify our domain? #MC Domain Verification

If you are moving to a net new account EID/MID then yes, this will have to be done in the new account. I would suggest having your Marketing Cloud resource reach out to me to provide more details and if needed (based on timing) we can provide a temporary exception for send restrictions until the migration is complete so you only have to do this once.

We use AMPscript to pull in Account Manager information from Salesforce Object Data. Do we need to verify each salesperson’s email address? #MCDomainVerification

Marketing Cloud Tech Lounge: Domain Verification for Email Studio

Domain Verification readiness time is now!

Introduced in the January 2018 release, Domain Verification verifies all sending addresses used by your organization before the address is used in an email send.  With Domain Verification, your account administrator can ensure that only verified sending domains and address are used. There are steps you will need to take in order to activate this feature, and timelines to consider.

Hear our presentation lead by @Todd Yoho and our extended team of experts ready to help with your questions which you can post here.

For Domain Registration Tool. Is there time reserved between once the "generate token" functionality becomes available and once this DNS record token is taken into consideration upon a send: after all, we need a bit of time to have it placed on the DNS server?

Yes there is a 90 day window before the token expires if not verified. The verification email token is only 48 hr window but the domain registration token provides 90 days

Our main From address is not verified.  We tried to verify with "Send Verification Email" but since the domain is part of our SAP package so we don't have a mailbox to verify the address.  The status of the From address is "Pending - Expired".

Go into the Sender Profile and select edit, then press the Verify button next the the address. Just press the Verify button and it does a check against the table and will immediately change to Verified and you can Save. You can add it via From Address Management and it would verify the address but the Sender Profile needs to be verified for the Send Classification to show in drop downs. We are looking into a way so that if you add in From Address Management it will update the Sender Profile but that is not available yet.

Q: Under account settings > additional domains text field: what does it do specifically e.g. our emails are sometimes sent from @company.com (not the SAP domain which is @e.company.com, but it is our domain). If I fill in @company.com what is result?

The Additional Private Domains box will display any Private Domains you may have set up. Private Domains are like SAP domains in that they are authenticated for delivery optimization, but only the SAP domain will brand the click URLs and images. So if they have private domains in this box, those are authenticated private domains we have on record for the account and those domains will verify for from addresses using that domain without the need to send the verification email. Private domains have a SKU and can be provisioned with all the deliverability advantages and a recommended domain option for sending since they are authenticated. Here is a knowledge article on the difference between SAP and Private Domains: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=000231487&type=1

Will this master record of from addresses be assigned in the Parent MID if you have multiple MID's?

Each MID holds its own master record of from addresses. There is not a parent admin that has visibility into all the child BUs
