Authorize org keeps failing

I have been trying to resolve this for over 2h. Reinstalled npm with nvm to try and fix permission issues, and made sure CLI is installed. I used to use orgs with no problem on this device but that was in 2022. I keep running into the same error. Does anyone know how to fix the permission issue?
