I am trying to get the sum of logged activities per account. I downloaded Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries, but am having trouble with the setup
Ex: I want to view the total number of logged calls on an account where Activity Type (custom picklist field) = "Cold Reach Out - Phone". So if an account has five logged calls, and three of them have Activity Type = Cold Reach Out - Phone, a field, "Number of Cold Calls", would equal 3
@Bryan Webb, If you want this to run in real-time, you must first deploy the child trigger and check 'Active'. Help me to understand the purpose of 'Count__c'. Also, what field type is this? If I understand correctly, you are trying to count (call)tasks where 'Activity_Type__c = Cold Reach Out - Phone'. Why not set this up by counting the id for each matching record?
