I have a question which is quite simple: in order to be a Marketing cloud consultant, should I first take the Administrator certification ?
When I look at job offers, it doesn't seem to be a requirement but as time is money, I want to ensure to do the right thing. Also, talking about certifications, do you believe that, to take the Marketing cloud consultant certification, I should also do the Marketing cloud email specialist one ?
I have more than 12 years in digital marketing hence I'm thinking whether I could skip the email Marketing cloud email specialist one...

As an experienced Marketing Cloud professional I would recommend you the following path in terms of certifications:
1. Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
2. Marketing Cloud Administrator
3. Marketing Cloud Consultant
In my opinion it is more important to start your MC journey with Marketing Cloud Email Specialist. Prepare for it thoroughly as this will be the foundation of your knowledge in SFMC. After that, things will make more sense when you will prepare for the Administrator certification and you'll just need to build a little bit up on your knowledge to tackle the Consultant exam.
