Create a discovery record does not have type or link only has input for discovery name. I will not be able to verify my app if I don't complete the steps.

Question

1) step asks to:

Create a discovery record as follows:

Discovery Name: Trailhead

Type: Website

I follow the steps, but I only see this Input for Discovery Name ________ and me as the Owner.

There is no other selections or inputs on the form for me to add Type or Link.

How do I correct this?

Hi Gina,

I am from the trailhead support team. Please refer to the below steps in the

Create a Custom Field for URL

Make a field for storing the URL of the resource you found. A URL is a hyperlink you can click to access a particular website or web page.

Because you clicked Save & New in the last section, you should already be on the New Custom Field page. If not, that’s OK.

From Fields & Relationships on the Discovery object, click New.

Select URL and click Next.

Define the field as follows:

Field Label: Link

Field Name: Link

Leave everything else as is, and click Next, Next, and Save & New.
