Error: Task_Details (Get Records) - Because the queriedFields field is set, you also need to set the following fields: sObjectOutputReference. How do I correct this?

Receiving the following error when validating my flow:   error: Task_Details (Get Records) - Because the queriedFields field is set, you also need to set the following fields: sObjectOutputReference.  How do I correct this?

    For others who run in the issue. In cases when the flow does not exist in salesforce but you have it in a local file what you need to do is add the missing <outputReference>someNewVariable</outputReference> just above your <queriedFields> tags. someNewVariable

     is a mock variable you can add at the end of your file.

    <object>Relevant_Object__c</object>
    <outputReference>someNewVariable</outputReference>
    <queriedFields>Id</queriedFields>
    <queriedFields>Some_Field__c</queriedFields>

    Define variable at the bottom of the file

    ...
        variables>
                <name>someNewVariable</name>
                <dataType>SObject</dataType>
                <isCollection>false</isCollection>
                <isInput>true</isInput>
                <isOutput>true</isOutput>
                <objectType>Relevant_Object__c</objectType>
        </variables>
    </Flow>

    Then you need to replace instances where the recordLookup is used to get a field with the new variable name so it's someNewVariable.Some_Field__c.

     

    This might not set it up perfectly but it will allow you to push it into salesforce where you can modify the flow if needed instead of rebuilding it.
