Hi Philip, I suggest taking look at ContactMonkey. It supports Outlook 2010 with either POP, IMAP or Exchange. ContactMonkey allows to view and edit Slesforce records right from the Outlook inbox. It also logs outbound and inbound emails into Salesforce including custom objects. They have free option - http://www.contactmonkey.com/salesforce-for-outlook
